About Us

The Mornington Peninsula Veterans Cricket Club (MPVCC) was founded in 2009 by a dedicated group of
individuals. They saw the potential to expand the opportunities of an aging male peninsula population
to maintain fitness; both mental and physical. Veterans Cricket Victoria was founded in the early
2000’s to provide a structured environment for elder cricketers over the age of 60 to participate in
competitive interclub matches.

From small beginnings the Mornington Club has grown to a membership of over 60 veteran cricketers
from the ages over 50 to over 75 who represent the club in competitions in the state and interstate.
Some have also represented Australia in international games.
